Well, I noticed that not only does the game run slower on high grass densities; it's also more crash-sensitive. And you know what the worst part is? These errors you mentioned also occur in the DLC areas that we did not change at all!

I was driving in Sweden and Norway before my trip to Munich and I never encountered these extreme slow downs there. That's why I assumed it must be something in this area.
I have checked the cfg file, but I coundn't find any switch for error levels to deactivate warning messages and such. Thus, I assume that ETS writes all the messages constantly into the log. This can clog the IO quickly with dozens of write operations. Maybe SCS can do something about it by changing the logging routine (provided that only the log operations are the issue).

Log operations is the issue, seen it before with some GPS/route issues, game is unplayable
That's why I added references to other locations with similar or higher tc and asked for the game log

Now that you mention it, I saw some strange nav behaviour on a trip from Munich to Ulm, yesterday. On one interchange the green direction arrow suddenly switched to the opposit dir (u-turns on the Autobahn are not very welcomed by the cops ). But it switched back to normal within seconds. If my memory serves me right, this was accompanied by some red lines in the console. But only two or three. Hardly enough to plumet my FPS. Will take a closer look later. I can send you the log then, if you want me to. BTW: I don't want to derail this thread any further than I already have. Shall I report anything new about this in the troubleshooting section?
