I have lower specs than you but my fps is always between 20 and 30 in the city, which is still low but playable. Maybe check your graphics settings?

Normally, in this game i have average 90-120fps (i have 144hz monitor, but i tried other monitors 60Hz) some City's i have around 55-65 fps (for example, Berlin), but is good, the problem is Barcelona (and manresa) is around 27-33fps. ¿ Is playable ? Well... depends xD, when normally the game is working good FPS and i go to Barcelona and i have fps drops... is very noticeable and "break" the gameplay. (I have visited more than half of the cities of the game, and the worst in performance, it's barcelona (but it is beautiful! nice work)

I know, optimizing and improving the map should not be an easy task ...

Also, i think the problem is of "graphics engine" of the game (old graphic engine, DirectX 9 etc..), but maybe is possible reduce ¿numbers of buildings? other things? i don't know, to have a similar performance to the rest of cities of the game.

Barcelona was the first city that I built and it was made poorly. A rebuild is planned in the future.

In all fairness, anything under 30 no longer qualifies as playable as it becomes a slideshow then.

It all depends on what you are used to. I stopped playing (until I get my new computer soon) when fps went below 20 fps. But I was perfectly used to play between 20 and 30 fps.

60 is good, less than 30 is not a pleasure at all

The more mods the greater impact on frames (unfortunately). :/
I have pretty descend specs on my computer, but with weather mods, jazzy ai packs, traffic density mods and offcourse promods (high drawing distance) i get between 10-20 fps in barcelona.
But then again i have the same problem in places like nurnberg, berlin etc. It's very frustrating, but i can always lower my graph settings. but i won't, for some strange reasons xD

I won't ask about any date of release for Promods 2.20, I'm just curious about this: are you waiting for SCS to finish Bella Italia DLC and then merge Promods map with that or you'll release the new version (2.20) once it's ready for those who do not know whether they'll buy Italy DLC or not???
PS: Don't get me wrong, I'll wait the time it takes you to finish 2.20!!!
