Hello,
I admit that I am impatient to have Andalusia as well as the entire Iberian Peninsula, even if I have to put the price ;-)

Well, it's just like driving 1.000km in any other country. In France you can also go such a distance, like Lille - Perpignan for example. But I suppose you mean in terms of landscape and roads. Castilla-La Mancha and Andalusia certainly will be a little desert-like and we haven't had that so far in the base game.
Desert? For the most part, Andalusia is not a desert. Typical mediterranean landscapes. If we had to make a comparison, California in USA has one of the most similar landscapes to Andalusia in the entire world (specially central California) and of course Southern Italy. We already have both of these places in SCS games and the landscapes they managed to represent in them is what Andalusia should in some way have. Of course southern Italy looks much better for today quaility standards compared to California, but still they managed to get an atmosphere in some places of Cali that reminds me of Andalusia. Trust me, I'm Andalusian :D

Castilla-La Mancha is quite arid on the other hand, but still not a desert too. A high plateau with little vegetation. It's similar to eastern Oregon-Washington.

The Tabernas desert is probably the only desert (or desert-like) climate in Europe :)

Well, Poland has its own "Desert" too. Tho it's nothing like a regular desert when considering the climate :P

Oh, thank you for clearing that up, I've never managed to go to there before, so from common knowledge/pictures I tought it should be an area at least "hinting" a somewhat desert area. But we should stay on topic - questions like what kind of roads would be built there? Little gas stations, sparse population etc., what kind of businesses?

Now that the Iberia DLC is officially confirmed, will the development go on hold? (Pity if it is because I appreciate a lot the work and progress you already made).

If you are going to launch the iberia DLC, will it no longer progress in the development of Spain?

realdeal350 will probably finish his work and release it for ProMods 2.50 and then he will halt his work after and begin merging it when the DLC comes.
