Guys... we are well aware of this. Do you actually think that we don't know that those two cities are laggy?

About Barcelona:
  • Yes, we know it has performance problems. We have been told a thousand times. It's old news.
  • We have already thrown everything we know at it how to optimise it. Unfortunately, our common knowledge about optimisation doesn't work here. "Just optimise it" won't be possible here; we already tried that.
  • A much better performing Barcelona won't be available soon, at least not in 2.20. The only way we can improve it is to start over again from scratch. And such a complete reconstruction will take a long time.
There are no easy and quick solutions.

Don't ask us for a release date; we don't know either.

Well, don't let those pesky thousand times get carried so many times away, the solution is to gradually increase the PC performance starting with bigger memory and better graphics card, if a game demands making some changes to improve performance, then the risk of adding a few losses on the bank account is acceptable, I've done it a couple of times, didn't have to change the computer, just add more components, et voilla.

Like you said before, the two cities can't be optimized over a short span of time, quality means hard work and redesigning the whole thing from scratch, I don't suggest that straight away, it's something that has to occur naturally, not by force or by custom order. Right now having the right type of RAM and better cards will do the trick.

Of course there could be some more cooperation from SCS in upgrading the game engine to the latest DX12 standards, thus bettering the overall performance for mods and addons.

In time I believe it will be done. Keeping my hopes up for them as well. Keep on truckin' everyone. 8-)

Can you please add this if you do:

We usually map with Google Street View. If there is something next to the road, then it can be next to the road in game, too. (If there is enough space)

However what others are trying to say is we will not go out of our way to make new roads to soccer stadiums and making them huge and with cargo deliveries.

No one is ignoring buildings next to the road for no reason
