I find that to be the same for me too. Spain is so full of amazing detail, I wish I could buy another PC to fully enjoy the new areas.

For higher FPS rate, remove all vehicle and trailer mods. From personal experience.

My laptop isn't even that great and I get good FPS everywhere in Spain (except Barcelona but that's another story)

I recently bought some more memory (now I have 8GB - yeah I know, even this is potato spec but anyway), before this I didn't dare to visit Barcelona, but now I did, and I must say in spite how notoriuos it is, it wasn't that bad. It actually surprised me because I was expecting much worse. Yeah framrates did drop noticeably but it stayed playable, and this was of course with all my traffic and trailer mods enabled so without them I guess it can be even better (or maybe just I'm too used to low framerates and that's why it didn't bother me that sometimes it droped around 8-10-15 FPS )

Barcelona has been revised about 3 times and is much better performing now than it was upon first release.

Spain is working quite fluently on my Laptop that has got Nvidia 840M and intel core i7 .

But my PC has to fight with 2.30 in general. My Pc always gets hot
