New stuff from Spain will be released in 2.5, but obviously not the whole country.

I'm sure that SCS will do nice things to Iberia.
And I am sure that ProMods can improve on that.

I know I am far far ahead, but I do wonder what tactic ProMods will use for the Iberia merge?
There is a chunk of France still missing. SCS addition to France DLC with 1-2 cities?
1 of the options:
Compability version: Everything south of SCS's France DLC gets replaced by the Iberia DLC.
Upside: Fastest.
Then in later ProMods version, areas not covered by SCS, but covered by ProMods areas are modified back.
Downside, Narbonne, that will be overridden. Easy to get back?
Perpignan, Bayonne and Pau could maybe be in future added France DLC area? Port-Vendres will most likely not be.
Andorra, Iberia DLC or France DLC area, or neither?

We will see what happens, or will happen, in about 10 to 12months from now.

We will use ProMods Spain as a base, but we will most likely rebuild some of the older areas in Catalonia and the Basque Country. Then once we merge it with DLC Iberia content, we will rebuild areas in the DLC which we think need improving. ;)

Well, Because iberia DLC is coming out december 3rd 2020, a whole year from now... I dont see why there is a stop in development, Promods must have predicted that Spain DLC would come out at SOME point, so why does it being announced or not have to halt the progress... If its almost done anyways, why not complete it so that the public can drive in Spain using promods for a WHOLE year until the dlc is officially released and THEN when iberia dlc comes out, a merge comes out?

There would be no point in doing in continuing developing the area; if they continued working in a particular area which was then overwritten by the DLC, wouldn't that be a waste of time? Yes, the area could be brought back in another update, but if the quality of the DLC was better than ProMods (in terms of prefabs, models, etc.), then that would seem like a bigger waste of time. Yes, it does mean there'll be very little to no progress on Spain, but there would be more progress on merging the RttBS DLC and updating old areas of ProMods and areas that have virtually not been touched by ProMods (e.g. France & Italy DLC's).

The areas in Spain that are/were being worked on by realdeal350 and IvanGF14 and that are ready to be released probably won't be released until at least 2.50 (maybe earlier, but unlikely).

No, that was a Placeholder date.

The true release date will be known about a week before release.
It could end to be 3rd dec, but it can be anything.
