The more you go to the South of France, the drier the climate becomes, certain in regions like Languedoc-Roussillon there's really not that much vegetation that grows above 1 meter, partially cause of the climate but also has geological reasons. There's positive to that as well: Vines don't have to grow for larger than 1 meter and feel themselves A OK in most of the region.Hadi588 wrote:Marvelous Job...Can any body tell me that these pictures have relatively dryer look..Is that so in RL?? Some of french land is less green??
On the Atlantic side this is not so obvious, there the effect of the Ocean creates a different climate.
Take a map of France and roughly make a half circle from Andorra-Carcassonne-Nimes-Mont Ventoux-Manosque-Nice-Menton and you have this "drier" landscape as you put it. It's not for nothing that Valence is called "Porte de soleil - Door to the sun", or to be more specific the 45th parallel.
lvl 209 - 912000km - Scania R730 - 61% map coverage
