I have had some thought about adding Helsingør but it's just on the maybe list.

It would be a nice addon, since the only connection in-game with "continental" Denmark from Sweden are the Oresund bridge and Goteborg, way north. One gets a little tired having to cross everytime the mentioned bridge for going to Denmark or having to drive north until Goteborg.

Helsingør - Helsingborg was planned with the KBH rebuild, but got cancelled again due to time... the connection from København is ready for a (maybe) future expansion. But right now, it is not on our priority list.

Will 2.30 feature anything from Southern Scandinavia

You'll see it yourself when 2.30 comes out.

I think they said that Ystad in southern sweden is ready

So maybe ferry from Świnoujście will be fixed to Ystad.
