Using the Promods trailer pack, including the beautiful 4-axle low boxtrailer.

Driving a Scania Streamline, 580hp euro6 V8. 6x2/4 with midlift axle. I'm unable to hook onto the trailer. The front of the trailer seems to be to low and its hitting on the fifth wheel (seventh wheel in this case). I have to raise the midlift axle of the ground and come in on an angle to be able to hook on.

Yes, I was on perfectly flat ground.

Game setup:
ETS2 1.26
France DLC
Scandinavia DLC
Going East DLC
Cabin Accesoires DLC

Mods:
Promods 2.15
Promods trailer & company pack 1.12

Same trailer in picture, this was with TCP 1.11 (hence the trailer is white), the truck is my older one though. Can't remember having the same issue with this truck.

Yeah, I think this trailer is supposed to be used with low-deck trucks, not standard ones. I wasn't using it with advanced trailer coupling mode but I have a Scania R&Streamline modifications mod and when I've enabled 4x2 low-deck, it feels perfect.

Which trucks qualify as low deck trucks? There's no difference in height between 4x2 and 6x2/4 chassis's that I know of.

This is where it gets stuck with my current truck. It has done just over 500.000km's 8-) Will try with my XF 105 and 106 (both 6x2/4 with midlift) to see if that makes a difference. As I haven't driven those trucks since the update to ETS2 1.26, and TCP 1.12

Hello

The only solution I 've found so far is with modded trucks on which the top fender arches can be removed.
This trailer is from Roadhunter and he just released a new version of it : does the pack use it ?

That trailer is indeed meant to be used with a low deck truck, low deck trucks are trucks that have smaller tires and their suspension has been lowered. Usually the top parts of the rear fenders are removed as well.

So, this is not a bug.

Hmm ok, not completely agree with you there. Would be great if this trailer works with non-lowdeck trucks though. Low-decks look weird af

From what I've seen on the Petschl Transporte website, this trailer is hooked to a standard truck for loads up to 36 to.
In fact it's all about hooking node adjusting in Blender or ZMod

Oh I can hook onto it, but I have to approach the trailer in reverse at about a 30 degree angle relative to the trailer to be able to hook up.

The latest version from Roadhunter has the advanced coupling feature ( DLC fRANCE is needed)
Did you try it ?

Never heard about Roadhunter, but I see its some kind of trailer pack. The only version I can find on ets2.lt is one for ETS2 1.25 though. Got a link for me?
