[Fixed] [#8635] [2.20] Novi Sad, GPS issues

This is a minor issue, but I'll report it anyway.

When positioned at the truck dealer yard in Novi Sad, there is a cut in the GPS routing somewhere in the red circle in the image below: if trying to plot a route south and east from the dealer past the circled area, the GPS plots a course via the north, rather than via the shorter southern way.



If moving south from the dealer, the problem seems to disappear, but it is possible to plot a course from the dealer yard south up unto the circled area, so the reason cannot be simply that the GPS thinks turning left when exiting the dealer yard is prohibited.

I don't really understand your screenshot; why is it red both the northern and the southern route?

because thats the route to my job. can´t explain it better. but your issue worked for me.
but maybe someone else can check it again.

@Davyddin, using ProMods 2.20 with ETS2 1.28 I also confirm that by default the game GPS takes the North route from the truck dealer to your waypoint. But if I place another waypoint along the South route, the GPS snaps to the South route, even while my truck is still at the dealer, so there does not appear to be anything wrong with the South route. The game GPS sometimes does some unpredictable things.


The GPS routing algorithms are much better in ETS2 1.30, so by default the GPS takes the South route in ProMods 2.25. This report will be closed.
