Low bridge by Mr Larrington, on Flickr

It's at or very near (sec+0005+0003);21151.6;62.7055;14529.4;-0.440669;-0.116457. I was hauling the locomotive from the SCS Heavy Cargo DLC. It's not low enough to stop you dead but it did cause damage to the trailer.

Confirmed. The overpass at the interchange of A2 and A23 is too low for tall trailers such as the Diesel Locomotive. I have reported this issue in our bug tracking system, bug #9828. Thanks for your report.

I think this is not a bug, this is realty.. You know we cant tell that every road is compatible for oversize cargoes... We cant change reality but developers should do something about GPS... GPS should change route if there are low bridges on the way...

The most recent version of (whispers) TSM I used does show some low bridges on the map, so if the GPS tries to send you that way you do at least get some advance warning.

I agree that in reality some overpasses are lower than others, some too low for certain cargo. However what is different in the game vs. reality is that there is no indication in the game that your cargo will not fit until you crash into it. Height restriction signs are rarely placed in-game, and there is no information provided about the actual height of each trailer - signs are provided in reality, and height can be measured in reality.

There is no way to tell the game GPS to avoid a certain route based on trailer configuration. I am not sure if even a real-life GPS can do this. The driver has to know where the low overpasses are to plan an effective route. Several options have been discussed by the ProMods team for these situations, it is up to the ProMods developer(s) to decide how to handle each location.

We, the ProMods users and the ProMods testing team, just report the locations.

IRLa good navigation program can handle this. Not Google maps and friends, but professional gps programs. You can add the sizes (not only height, but width and length too) and weight of your truck, and the ADR categorie if you have, and the gps can calculate with this informations.

In this game it's not possible as a modder, unless SCS build in this feature. But I don't think they have plans about this...

IMO the only possible solution for this (except the elevation of all low bridges), if somebody create a database of the height of all trailer (for example here on the forum, and the signs of height restrictions have to be placed properly on the maps. Then you will see before the bridge if you can pass under it, or not.
But it's a fairly huge work...
