had the same problem too I was like "What the crap?" Idk how u can get UK prefab and non-UK prefab mixed up... srry if Im being a bit annoyed here but some cars in ETS2 France think left-hand is king I guess...
Not to hard to get it mixed up....
name of prefabs are: <name>.ppd and for UK: <name>_uk.pdd so it can happen that the prefab beneath the one you need is being selected...

I found AI bug near Rennes. I have some mods instaled but only here i saw this problem. Cars jump(red arrow) to the opposite lane.
