Some say, I'm addicted to ETS2. But then I say. No, it's ProMods, it's a way of life.

Whats?!? All 7 files are in the mod folder. + the def file, what should i do? Please help me.
Maybe you are placing them in the wrong location
Code: Select all
00:00:12.109 : [zipfs] promods-def-v212 (1).scs: read ok, 968 entries [0xc5aa664b]
00:00:12.109 : [mod_package_manager] Mod package promods-def-v212 (1) has been mount (package_version: 2.12, source: User mods)

What the PM team means is that you may have all the right Promods files in the mod folder, but not necessarily installed in the mods manager. For Promods to function correctly, all 7 files must be activated specifically, starting with Assets, followed by Models Package 1, 2, Media, Map and finally Definition or Def. That load order works only when playing Promods without other map mods in use, for other maps to connect properly you should look for the revised official load order, also on this forum. As a rule, all the original Promods files must be loaded bottom to top, using only the official guidelines, already mentioned.
Playing with just the 2.11 version without the newest DLC, should be easier than you think. Also at the very least you should try to play one version higher, say the 2.12, also works without DLC Vive La France, but requires at least DLC Going East and Scandinavia. Be sure to use the appropriate bit version for the game, if your PC or laptop uses more than 4 GB of RAM, using just the 32-bit version could crash the game to desktop, using the 64-bit version is therefor recommended, on the other hand if your computer has less than 4 GB of RAM available and installed, using the 32-bit version should be fine.
Hope this helps you.
Best regards.
