Whenever I try to load my saves, I get a prompt informing me of that I am missing the 1.8.1-files in my mod folder and that the game may crash.
And, when I load the game, it crashes.

The game crashes due to a problem with your 1.83 files. Did you download the one part file, or the three part? Depending on what zip program you use, the unpacking process can sometime cause errors.Try downloading the pack again.

The 1.81 errors are there only because those files were activated when the game was saved. Once you get a good 1.83 pack installed, just ignore the 'missing mods' warning. You should then be able to continue the game :D .

I use 7Zip and the archive ("premium" download) checks out according to the archiver. I also just to be certain made a 1.83 def file.

Hmmm, I dowloaded the "premium" archive again, extracted those files and it seems to have fixed whatever the issue was. :)
