Mod Incompatible with current game version

I purchased pro mods today and it says mod incompatible with the current game version.

Pro Mods current version will not work with ETS2 1.26.
For PMs to work you have to be running version 1.25. So if using Steam, you can choose to downgrade.

To do this, right click ETS2, select Properties,
New window opens up, count 4 along from the left and you'll see a drop down Tab called BETAS. Left Click this and click the arrow in the box saying
'Select beta you would like to opt into'
and scroll down to the option for
'temporary_1_25- 1.25.x for incompatible mods'
Then click 'Close' at the bottom.

Steam should now downgrade your game to 1.25 with a download.
You can then do as normal with your game, open it up and check PMds is not showing incompatible, if it is then something is wrong, ie: selected wrong downgrade, check version number and try again if so.
You should be fine doing as I have said. Several posts about this on the forum in case your still stuck.

I just purchased PMs today and when I go to Betas there's no dropdown list it only says: " Opt out of all beta programs"

I guess us VR users are stuck until ProMods is updated because there is no oculus 1.25 beta to go back to.
I only dicovered ProMod last week, too!

Did you click the little arrow on the right of the box that says "Select the beta you would like to opt into"?

If no dropdown list then I'm unsure why your Steam doesn't show them. A little Googling shows Mac users can have problems with the drop down not showing. Someone else here may have an idea that I've not been able to spot due to being so tired :/

Are you sure you can't go to the regular 1.25.x version of ETS2, and supply the "-oculus" parameter to the game launch options? How were you getting oculus to work before 1.26 was pushed out by Steam?

I have an HTC Vive. For Rift and Vive support you have to use the experimental oculus beta. For Vive you add the -openvr parameter to the launch options. Before the 1.26 was pushed I was using the experimental oculus 1.25.
The 1.26 overwrote it. The previous experimental oculus betas don't appear to be kept.
