Cannot use -force_mods

The game will crash when i use -force_mods, log is error & warn free. Why please.

Load order.

-force_mods disables the mod manager, highest number gets highest priority.

If -force_mods is causing PM to crash then there is an error somewhere in PM, no other reason why. Are any of the Devs looking into this pelase.

Game.log, please. Otherwise we can't identify what goes wrong. Haven't you noticed the big red box on top of the page?

Unpacked twice, no other mods while testing. PM works without using -force_mods. Am going to take a wild guess & state that there is an error in one of the text files as the log always ends at the same place: [bullet] Starting physics server: Bullet.

Only one of your logs gets to that point; the other one shows that you have shut down the game yourself, the one without -force_mods

Dont know any other way to describe the problem.

PM will crash if i use this in my shortcut:
D:\ETS2\bin\win_x86\eurotrucks2.exe -nointro -force_mods -homedir "D:\"

PM will load & play if i use this in my shortcut:
D:\ETS2\bin\win_x86\eurotrucks2.exe -nointro -homedir "D:\"

Some files in mods will not work without using -force_mods, eg. ui\template\text.sii. If -force_mods is not used the game will use the original file in base.scs. This tells me that some file in PM has an error but it is not being used unless you use -force_mods.

Please test this for yourself, if it is a problem on my end i will beg your forgiveness & give you my sincerest apologies.

I tried to test it myself. Although I don't have the foggiest idea what causes the problem (no errors in the log whatsoever), I'm able to replicate the behaviour in both the game and the map editor. So at least it's not just you.

The only advice I can give you now is not to use "-force_mods". But other than that, I have no idea what's going on here.

If i had access to the assets file i would probably be able to find the corrupt file, but i doubt that would be allowed.
I was thinking of going back to PM2.11 but i noticed many more cities in PM2.12 & there are many fixes in ETS2 also. The reason i use -force_mods is for bigger fonts & some desktop changes i have made, they dont work without -force_mods.

Is this fixed in the new release, pointless paying & downloading if it is not. PM is really broke if this happens because -force_mods is a valid legal option in the game, the file that is broke anyways will not be getting used as it requires -force_mods to be set.
