Promods 2.11, ETS 2 1.25.
Performance is really poor. Constant lag, regardless of in game settings. Never had any issues before.
AMD A10-7850K
MSI GTX 960 2GB
8GB DDR3 RAM
2TB HDD.
I can usually get high settings on ETS 2 with 40-50fps. At the moment I'm struggling 20.

What game settings do you use ?
I've switched to 64 Bit Mode (steam) and have mostly 60 fps of course spain and some other place there i've around 30 to 40.
The shown details on my page are actual. With shadows, mirror and light visibility settings im testing if they can get higher than low.
I doesn't use any grafics or weather mods and beside promods there are only 4 traffics from jazzycat and a few trailers mods active

In newest ETS version its even worse. Horrible fps when ever there are a bit more traffic and busy areas. Used to be completely playable, not anymore. SCS keeps adding features more and more, and it kills the performance.
its getting weirder.
On medium graphic settings with latest ETS2 + Promods i'm getting between 9 and 15 FPS.
This is the weirdest part.
If I start recording everything is fine. Mostly 30-35 FPS.
so i dont know what is the problem.
System
i5 6500 3.2Ghz
Asus GTX960 4gb
8GB DDR4
i all want to play ETS2 with Promods properly. I dont want 50 or higer FPS.

Yes, I am having framerate problems as well. My game is struggeling to keep above 40fps in most places even with the low pc quality drawingdistance selected.
My pc is a beast, so it should be able to run it no problem but even when I only enable ProMods it lags like crazy.
Pc Specs:
CPU: Core I7 5820k (6 cores)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4 2400Mhz
GPU: Asus Strix GTX980 TI (6GB GDDR5)
MoBo: Asrock X99X Fatal1ty Killer

How does it run on vanilla (new profile -> no mods)
3D Artist - Moderator - Beta tester
for me vanilla runs very bad, like I said even on vanilla it lags.
I think the biggest problem that is causing lag, is that the models used in promods are way too highpoly and have way too high res textures, I mean it is fun to be able to drive to almost every city in europe but everytime I get near or in a city or even at some intersections or on and off ramps on the freeway, the framerate takes a dive to almost 25fps. I think the people should look at all of the models and textures used in promods and edit them to have even less polygons and make the textures used for props that are not in direct line of sight a bit smaller in resolution.
I know ETS2 is a badly optimized game itself but other mods don't cause as much lag for me than promods.

Sorry but i've slightly other experience.
My specs are lower - win10-64, ets2-64, 16 GB RAM and a 2gb r9 290 and a Medium Intel CPU from 2015.
I've beside promods 2 grafic mods and around 10 trailer and trafic mods activ and get between 40 and 100 fps with nearly complete high settings. The only difference between vanilla and promods is the map itself
If needed i could post Screenshots.
