My rig is over 5 years old (though the GPU is only 2 1/2 years old), so I do notice the lag, but it's still driveable and, as you say, much better than things used to be with an old machine.

Same issue here after installing Promods 1.91 sometimes severe lag could it be because I installed the new streetlights.
Before I didn't had any issue with Promods and lag it was as smooth as butter.

Since v1.91 was released, if anything, my frame rates have improved/ smoothed out immensely.
OK, I still have issues in the known resource heavy cities, but I live with that for the general overall map improvements.

Maybe its because I'm not running a beta program....

Baisically i drive, i have a pause frome the game and when i come back the frame rate gooes sloow!

I've got a decent rig and Promods slows it down in the odd area, but outside of these I have 60FPS. Mostly frame drops happen at these big new cloverleaf intersections they keep adding. I know its a tradeoff between Frames and how authentic these cities look, but I think we've reached the extreme most of our PCs can handle in certain areas..

Hamburg is pretty bad, as is Stockholm, Ring Antwerpen and the Rhein/Ruhr industrial area.. Basically the places that suck to drive in in real life.

I'm having the same issue, its pretty good mostly but the dips in framerate are very jarring. I don't mind a lower framerate on average say like in a city. But it feels like it sort of fluctuates in the places you mention making it a bit crappy to play if it happens in the middle of a lanechange or somehting.

I'm running a 4690k with a gtx970 at 1080p with 200% scaling, i've tried changing it back to 100% and it doesnt seem to make any difference in regards to the affected areas. I also tried making a new def with less vegitation draw distance because I kept seeing the grass dissapear and reappear, didnt seem to make much difference either.
