RAR Archive is corrupt

The first download on the free list takes 30-40 minutes to download, and when I open it with WinRAR, it says it is corrupt.
I tried to run the mod with the other SCS files, but to no avail.
I redownloaded it twice on Google Chrome, and once on Internet Explore. Please help.

You need install 7-zip. Download all files, then select first file, right click to extract with 7-zip. It extracts all files automatically.
Edit: note that it's for game v1.26, don't even try with v1.27. Next version 2.16 works with game v1.27.

First of all, our archives are not packed in RAR but in 7-zip.
I still don't understand why people keep using a (demo/nagware) version of WinRAR when 7-zip offers better compression and totally free.

Well to be fair some of us are just trained to just ignore the nagware (like myself) and others actually pay for it (see here: https://www.reddit.com/r/PaidForWinRAR/)

@ScuL Same with me. I was a WinRAR person back then, but then I saw that the nagware made my WinRAR stop working.
Now I'm a 7-Zip person

Permanent solution...
I use latest 7-zip on my main PC and some old WinRAR version on my 2nd PC - both work without problems.
It's all about users making mistakes
