I bought PM v2.16 yesterday, installed it today only to be told that it's incompatible with ets v1.27.....what gives guys?

No, it's fully compatible. As you can see on the download page, there's a text which says "[ETS 1.27]". I'm running 1.27 with 2.16 and have experienced only few and tiny graphical/navigation bugs, which I'll report soon.

It might say incompatible if you don't all three map dlc for ETS2. You need going east, scandanvia and france.

And you need to make new def file when using new version of PM.

If it says incompatible it's probably because he's missing a DLC

Damn, didn't realise I needed France! It's a pain, £13.49 is a bit much to pay for a map I will never use, because I don't drive in France 'cos of the interminable toll boothes!!

This DLC introduces Télépéage tollgates, so you only have to slow down to ~45 km/h. I didn't like our old France but now I really enjoy driving in this country
