Look at my log please! It takes like 10 minutes to load and Genova is missing.... The .base files which should be deleted are not there. What should I do? Downloaded promods yesterday morning

I think you don`t need to use fix if all necessary sectors were deleted. Game.log is also showing that you`re using a pirated version.

ProMods team are not supporting pirated versions as Steam versions receive regular patches and all files are provided directly from SCS Software.

Sadly the information you are giving is conflicting. Genova cannot be missing if those base files aren't there.. Can you double check?

Genova is really missing on the map and the base files are gone. And are you saying I'm using a pirated version?! That is very offensive, I bought everything with a official DVD bought in a game shop!!

I'm not saying that at all. Are you sure the base files are the correct ones? (There is a difference between the + and - in the name)

It's missing for me as well. Might be because I didn't yet buy the Italia DLC (seems like it contains Genoa already).

Go to Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod.
Right-click on "promods-map-v225.scs" file and open it with 7-zip/WinRAR.
Go to map/europe folder.
Find and delete:
sec-0001+0007.base
sec-0002+0008.base
sec-0003+0008.base

Worked for me. From 5 Minutes to 5 Seconds load time.

What I noticed is that the name Genova is gone, but the map and city are still there. Is that causing the confusion?

HI Community,

the game stops loading on the point "00:02:06.048 : Road network navigation caching started."

i have all big DLCs incl italia and the following mods:
Große Steppe
promods
Rusmap

Any ideas?
