I do not know what has caused it but I noticed on a journey in south Italy that the text on sign were missing. The signs above the motorway telling what town you directing toward and the signs who are pointing to the motorway ( AUTOSTRADA) were missing too.

You are using many mods apart from ProMods, and normally I would ask you to try with only ProMods enabled and see if the problem persists. But in this case I think I see the cause of the missing text: the original version of ScandinaviaMod 0.4 had a problem and has received an update, which you should go get and activate instead. It is known as "0.4 FIX".
