Yes. I have today ETS2 DVD -version and contemplating to activate ETS2 to Steam. I have update ETS2 v.1.31 to 1.23.3 but the game does not work since I have Promods v.2.27 and Rusmap installed. I have read that ETS2 1.32 only works with new Promods . 2.32. Now I wait on promods next update 2.32 and after that I activate ETS2 on Steam.
I have DLC Scandinavia, Going East and Viva La France installed.
Mistakenly update to ETS2 1.23

1. You need to download 2.02 for 1.23
2.For 2.27 you need to have the 1.31
3. The compatibility Update for ETS2 1.32 is Promods 2.31
4.If you want the 2.30 towards you need also the Italy DLC.

These forced updates from Steam really annoy me. I saw ETS updated recently so now I go and pay to get promods v2.30, go into the game and find it updated yet again and v2.30 is incompatible. I love this mod but it's so ridiculous how ETS updates break compatibility all the time. Steam isn't very clear on what version anything is either nor is there an easy way to discern that this latest minor update would break compatibility.
On Steam Betas tab, there you can choose wich version of ETS2 you want to have active.
Rightclick your game in your library, select "Properties", then go to "BETAS" tab and there select:
temporary_1_31 - 1.31.x for incompatible mods.
ProMods v2.27, for those who do not have Italy DLC, v2.30 for those who have Italy DLC.

You can play ProMods 2.30 on ETS2 version 1.31 as well (if you don't own the Italia DLC you have to use the PM 2.27 version then).
You don't need to delete anything, just right-click ETS2 and click on properties than do the same like on the picture above yours.
