Game crashes when loading profile

Hi,

My game is compatible with the newest version of ProMods and I followed every instruction (I'm pretty sure) when installing. This is my first time using PM and am very puzzled. ProMods Definition Package appears in the Mod Manager and I am wondering if this is the correct display. Please help ASAP if you have any idea what I could be doing wrong. I have followed self help before any moderators get angry.

Thanks

I'm not easily made angry, don't you worry :)

What exactly is your issue? Do the other files show in the mod manager too?

If it is showing incompatible please click the I (INFO) button in the mod manager and the game will tell you what is missing

No, nothing else shows in the Mod Manager apart from the definitions

Then you probably donwloaded the definition file with Special Transport enabled, without having the DLC for it. In this case download a New definition file with the Special Transport box unticked.

Yeah, but I don't have it downloaded though...

Also, just wanted to check that this is how the files should be...
Under 'mods' in 'Euro Truck Simulator 2'
promods - v232.7z
promods - v232.7z (1)
promods - v232.7z (2)
etc.
etc.

Show us your game.log and a screenshot of your "mod" folder, that'll answer all questions.

Galactic_Nerd-sk, the 7z multi file needs to be unpacked to the mods folder.
Is the promods-v232.7z the single download file?
1,72 GB in size?
If yes, you need to unpack the contents of it to the mod folder.
preferably with 7-zip.

If you talk about the multi archive download?
Then the names should be:
promods-v232.7z.001
promods-v232.7z.002
etc... until
promods-v232.7z.007
7 files in total. without any () at all.

From Promods map mods, only scs files need to be in the mod-folder.
