Have an installation compatibility issue. Please advise.

Hello, after purchasing the latest promods 2.40 realized had a compatibility issue. Have saved games for version 2.10 with a lot of progress. When I click continue to take on a new job it directs me to a few saved games that indicate compatibility issues and therefore unable to load any game. I cannot get passed this menu and stuck not being able to continue playing with my company and game progress. Have tried a few different steam versions and looks like the one that I need is 1_24 which is unavailable. Steam only shows 1_22 then jumps to 1_25.

Cannot locate 1_24 on steam, cannot get passed the autosave screen or load promods version 2.10 which has all my saved game progress. I don't want to lose all the progress and unable to accept a new job.

Assistance is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Did those old saves have mods on them?
Usually saves can be loaded anyway, even when showing compability issues and missing mods etc.
Could you link a screenshot of those messages?
I'm not an expert on this.

I've already tried to load the saves and they don't work. Trying not to lose my game progress.

Techguy3389, as scsn720 wrote.
And... do you have all 7 promods files?
Sometimes people forget the def file.

Well, new nickname for you ;)

Techguy3389, how's it going?

/edit:
I start to think that it was a missing def-file that was the problem?
