I would go as far as deleting the whole "Euro Truck Simulator 2" folder in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Euro Truck Simulator 2\
And then reinstalling via Steam.

BUT! keeping the "Euro Truck Simulator 2" folder in my documents folder!

You know what, im just a bit done with this ****. Now my profile and stuff won't even load (i didn't delete it).
I'm just better off not using it. So i'll just fix my profiles(.bak), and just go play ets2(mp). I think this also a bit too hard for me, because i'm just a bit too young for this. Maybe in 2/3 years when i understand those things a bit more, i'll maybe be in for a promods map.

Something odd was/is going on with your ETS2 steam installation folder.

Never give up, even if it's hard, you can always find in the end what did not work and cause of the problem.

It's all fixed now, boys .
It's working completely fine.
I'm not using Promods anymore.
