Game Crashes on loading screen

So I have Scandinavia and Going East DLC, so I downloaded ProMod 2.12 along with game version 1.26, like it says. I used the fast download link to get the mod files. I followed the instructions as it says.

When I try to load the game it goes upto 90% and then crashes. I made sure I didn't have any other DLC deside North and East, and also I don't have have other mods besides promods.

Help is appreciated, or otherwise it's a waste of a $. Thanks.

have you tried waiting for at least 30 minutes?
if it does crash back to desktop during the loading then please include the game.log.txt so we can see what error it triggers

my bad, it was set to private. It should work now.

I see a lot of ERROR in the game.log, but have no idea what those mean

It appears you did not download/install the .def file for v2.12. You need to go get it from here:

https://www.promods.net/compat.php

And scroll down to 2.12, there's a link for it there.

So I'm getting this for some reason when I try to download the def pack

That means that your browser is trying to open the file instead of download it. MIME settings for the file extension/type may be incorrect. Either correct those settings or try downloading the def file with a different browser
