I recently installed promod 2.42 version but when I launched the game the files are not compatible and after pay attention a 2 time to the tutorial I saw that my files have not the same name in the tutorial and in my folder. However I select the 1€ file and extract them with 7 zip Manager... Can someone help me ? Here's my screen capture from my mod folder

Thanks

Which names are different?
Click on "i" (info) icon in Mod Manager and it'll tell you why it's incompatible.

The Tutorial only covers the free downloading method not the paid one.

I actually have the same identical issue here. I bought the 1 Euro version. I extracted the file and got 7 new ones. They're the same as in the photo in the earlier post.

When I enter the game they appear in Mod manager but they're incompatible and it says I'm missing 7 files?

I done test files and it said I'm missing 7 files. So I went to download one of the free archives and when it downloaded I done the test files again and it said I'm missing 6 now.

I don't understand what I'm doing wrong, surely if I bought the paid version I shouldn't need to download the free versions??

As @Trucker2223 says in the post above yours, the file tester is only for the free version. You do not need to use it if you downloaded the paid version.

If the files are incompatible it's most likely at least one of the following things is true:

1) Your game has been updated to 1.36. Promods is not yet compatible with 1.36. You need to downgrade to 1.35.x for the time being until they release a compatibility fix.
2) You're missing one or more of the required DLC. Promods 2.42 requires all five of the older map DLCs (East, Scandinavia, Italy, France, Baltic) in order to work.

Thanks for the quick response.

I have all the DLC's you mentioned so it must mean I have ETS2 updated to 1.36. Would you be able to tell me how to downgrade to version 1.35.x ? I have Steam.

Many thanks

*Edit *

I managed to actually downgrade the game myself.

Seems all the archives are compatible apart from the definitions package, which says dlc_oversize. Any idea what I done wrong or what the issue is ?

Hi,

Open Steam > Libary > ETS2 > Right click > Properties > Betas > choose: temporary_1_35 - 1.35.x for DX9 and incompatible mods

Best regards,

You generated a def file with ST compatibility, even though you don't own this DLC.
