That looks like an issue with your video card.

What could it be? I only have this problem with ETS2. I have a Gigabyte 1080ti Aorus.

Check if your GPU drivers are up to date and disable Geforce Expirenece for ETS2.
Otherwiese try an older driver.

My drivers are up to date and I've even tried 2 older drivers but the game still crashes. and what do you mean by Disable geforce experience for ets2?

Some settings in geforce Expierence seem to cause Problems with ETS2, atleast that's what I'm reading on the internet, since quite a few people had that problem and disableing geforce expirence helped them

I have disabled the experience overlay and it does seems to have helped, haven't crashed for half an hour.

It crashed again. When taking the ferry from Hirtshals to Torshavn.

Hmm, maybe it's a Hardware issue with the game. You should maybe ask in the SCS Forum about that, maybe they can help you better. dx11 error 0x887a0005 only tells a problem with the GPU or the GPU driver.

Thanks I will try that, also I have disabled a graphical mod and the hasn't crashed since.
