Well, again, no real indications as to why the game crashed in that log. You are kinda low on memory, but if that was the cause there should be a line near the bottom of the log to the effect of "<ERROR> failed to allocate..."

Code: Select all

00:00:00.001 : [mem] physical total: 3519M
00:00:00.001 : [mem] physical avail: 2062M
While that suffises for the vanilla game, modders don't have access to the same optimalisation tools the SCS devs have, so ProMods does require higher minimum specs, but, again, this should cause performance issues, not outright crashes.

I'm out of options here (maybe try loading an earlier autosave?), I hope other posters can offer further suggestions.

Well, another thing is you used TSM before, which I've seen have no effect in many cases, but Nico says it could be that.

Have you tried just starting a new profile, just to see if it will load (you could start at Hamburg and see if you have problems)?

I have the same problem of the game crashing in the loading screen. With only the "Promods" file it is fine cause it on it`s own does`nt do anything. If I then add the "Map" file it crashes a bit later in the loading screen than if I load all of them. And as a side note, no other mods want`s to work for me. ETS2 v.1.15.1 steam version, if this information may be of any help.

Just disable all other mods and follow the tutorial. Link is mentioned above....

Some say, I'm addicted to ETS2. But then I say. No, it's ProMods, it's a way of life.

@ Polyus 17F19DM

Looks like there could be a problem with the def file:

Code: Select all

00:01:20.823 : Mounting extra package: F:/Users/Zachary/Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod/promods-def-v183.scs
00:01:20.858 : [zipfs] promods-def-v183.scs: read ok, 1602 entries [0xc3e817d]

00:01:23.855 : <ERROR> Missing mods or dlcs [1]: promods-def-v183 (5).scs
The '(5)' in the file name above would indicate more than one file has been downloaded. Make sure you only have one in your mods folder. Or try generating another def file on the Downloads page.
