Problems With ProMods

I'm going to start off by saying that I'm a Mac user. I'm new to ProMods and everything to do with it, but I followed the installation instructions step-by-step. I used the Unarchiver to extract the .rar file. Maybe that had something to do with it. I've just been told I should use ProMods, came here to get it, activated everything, started up the game, and had it crash immediately. I really hope I can get this fixed and try this highly recommended mod. So, any suggestions for what may have caused this and how to fix it?

It isn't a gamelog. Check if you have Scandinavia DLC, if your ProMods version is right. Do you have more mods?

From the game log we can see which version of ETS2, which Promods Version and whether you the dlc_north which is required for latest version 1.95

How do I get the game log? In case I can't, I have the Steam version of ETS2 1.18, ProMods 1.95 (attempted to replace it with 1.91 after it crashed, but the files you download for 1.91 are apparently corrupted), and I don't have any DLC. Hope this helps.

1.95 is the DLC compatible version of ProMods, it requires the Scandinavia DLC.
If you don't have it you should use ProMods 1.91.
