I personally have stated it here and in a few other topics that ProMods 1.97 is not compatible with ETS 2 v1.21 as SCS made again some changes in the map.

Yes promods 1.97 is not compatible with ets2 1.21 they are working on a promods update v 1.98 which will be completed soon, for now the advice is to downgrade the game to version 1.20 until promods 1.98 is available

I see that scs has released v1.21 so I will be downgrading the game to 1.20 now

No, all you need to do is open up your steam library, right-click on Euro Truck Simulator 2, select properties(bottom option), then go to the betas tab and in the drop down list select temporary_1_20 - 1.20.x for incompatible mods and steam will re-download a patch to set the game back to v.1.20.x, once the updated promods is ready do exactly the same but in the drop down list select none - opt out of all betas and steam will re upgrade the game to version 1.21.x

Your welcome :)

edit... Also you will find that poland rebuilding v1.97 is also not compatible with ETS2 1.21.x so it might be worthwhile waiting until promods and poland rebuilding have both been updated before upgrading back to ETS2 1.21.x

I think people need to have a little patience, version 1.21 of ets2 has only just been released, and im sure updated there map for 1.21 means a lot off time consuming hard work, you can always downgrade back to 1.20 if it is to much of an inconvenience. relax :D
