Promods v.2.17 crashes when finishing quick job

Hello!

When i finished the first job after creating a new profile the game some kind of freezes and I cant move or see my truck, I just got a blackscreen and a Warning sound from Windows plays...

It is pretty weird... It was tested without any other mods except Promods itself, the game.log is clean.

Looks like there's a big problem with your PC.
There's no chance any game makes your system BSOD. Unless it's very hot and your PC is overheating or it's unstable for some other reason.

We didn't have such reports as yours, so it's hard to say... Maybe your game.log would help investigate the problem.

My pc isnt overheating. I meant the game freezes so i can just close it, I tried multiple times to play, but it didnt work... Its no BSOD I can normally tab out open Task-Manager and close the game.

No other error... That's interesting. Could you try with a new profile? Because it's not freezing for others. Such issues are the worst to solve.

Well, after I disbled the real ffb plugin, everything seems to work fine... I don´t know how but it does. What I was wondering about is that it doesnt give you an error for that. Anyways, thank you!
P.s. : It was tested with a new profile ^^

please revalidate your game.. i dont have any problem with the plugin.. its odd it doesnt find the adblue parameter in the scs api.. but thats offtopic to your problem.. it dont think it has anything to do with it.

Please download your def again.

Removing the '(1)' from the def file may help too.

Put this to bottom:

Hi there,

I'm having the exact same issue, but I don't think it's ProMods related, just FFB plugin.

I hadn't played ETS2 for a while so I started a new profile with no mods - just the FFB plugin - and after completing the first delivery I got the black screen and Windows error chime. I replaced the FFB plugin with a fresh copy of the latest version and that did not help. I removed the plugin entirely, and the game stopped crashing, even after loading ProMods 2.17 and several other mods.

I'm not sure where to look to get crash logs. The FFB plugin always worked great for me in the past, so I don't know what has changed.

You can find the game.log in the My Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2 folder. Open it in notepad.exe and copy the content to www.pastebin.com, provide the link here.

Anything which is game related can break due to any kind of update to the game or mods.
