The game freezes for about 8 seconds and the window closes when I come up to a junction of the M25 west of London northbound from this location:

Code: Select all

crash on m25 west of London ;[31/12/2019 19:19] (sec-0011-0003);-42184.7;77.1662;-10984;0.130368;-0.171313
Here is the game.log.txt:

I can't confirm a crash in that location? Since there's no obvious Error in that log, I ask if it's the full log? If not post the full log on Pastebin and share the link here.

/edit

It looks like that the problem is caused by the detours feature. I can only confirm logless crashes, when those are enabled, so you need to disable them when driving there.

Ok, thanks for the quick reply by the way!

Yes there was a detour I could see ahead of me when the game crashed, I'll turn them off (in settings?) and see if I can continue through the junction

Yeah, just move the slider to the most-left position in the gameplay options setting, taht will turn them off. Although when the detour is already placed before the game has been saved, it may be that you need to cancel your job.

Hi have experienced this same problem and logged post about it 10mins ago. I have turned the detours all the way down it doesn't resolve the issue. I can confirm though that when you drive along at one point the road as a blue line flicker across it and then again just before it crashes. You can do anything but abandon the job which is annoying and cost a lot of money in the game. Can we please have this addressed soon as possible? It seems fine in other area's but the m25 is a massive road in the UK so clearly will be used a lot for journeys exiting London

We have absolutly no clue on how to fix it, so you can't expect a fix soon.
If you want to be absolutly sure just don't accept any Jobs that route through this area with detours enabled.

This issue will be now fixed in the next ProMods Version.
It was actually caused by a SCS game engine bug which let the game crash when generating the detour. They fixed this problem in 1.38.
