Mike Zadra: There are a few issues in that area. If you could please reply with map coordinates and/or screenshot of the crash location (or as close as you can get to it), that would be very helpful!

Also, please post the full contents of your game.log.txt file (usually located in C:\Users\*user*\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2 or similar depending on your OS) pasted between the Code tags. If the file is too large, we advise you upload it to http://pastebin.com/, and post the link to it here.

@cashtime2013 - In this post (http://www.promods.net/viewtopic.php?f= ... bug#p63422) this guy have experienced the same bug and has posted a log file and a screenshot. I also have a savegame taken just before the crash area. If necessary I can also post a screenshot and a log file of the same problem if the other one is not enough.

Thanks rayden, it could well be the same bug. However, the game.log could show or possibly eliminate other causes.

As you may of read, I checked the bug referred to in that post, but could not replicate it. However, I will check again

Hi,

just past the message "first visit at Europabrücke", ETS2 hangs - screen frozen, sound loop, unfortunately, no crash log written.

Only other mods are a "No police" mod, and an Actros MP4 (which I did not even drive, was heading to Italy in a Volvo)

And yes, newest ETS patch, and ProMods 1.96.

Please, can someone re-check?

Please post your game.log. It is always being written. The crash log is for no use at all for us modders.

Me again,

I disabled all other mods - same problem. Between the first and second overhead signs after the fuel station, ETS hangs.

Funny things I noticed as well more or less nearby -
in the fuel station, a following AI truck dropped partially through the ground - I headed to the leftmost, he stayed more in the middle, saw it in the mirror

And, If you chose the A12 to Innsbruck instead, you can find a sign "Platzhalter" when leaving the motorway.

Hm that's odd… the Platzhalter bug can be fixed easily, but your crash is strange…

Hi. Happened to me too just now. Using promods 1.91 and Hotfix 1.17. Will there be another hotfix or do i have to get the DLC and upgrade to 1.96.1?

I seriously doubt that there will be another hotfix for a now obsolete version.
