some time ago I wanted to edit Poznań as it was never improved... I live here so it's annoying
Map editor didn't want to cooperate with me but now it works on new system.
As I'm trying to add details, I want to add a sign with bridge name:

Do I have to model it in some 3d software make whole sign? Or is there an easy way to apply my texture to some sign? There are some old tutorials but maybe it changed over time?

You could attempt to make a template in the new templated sign system. It's very flexible and for purposes like this, it may be the right tool for the job. You may even have all the assets you need available.

Is there a tutorial for that? I can learn it myself for sure but just to get started faster and don't look for it everywhere
I know it's possible to put PM archives to mod folder, so I can use city entry/exit template but I didn't try it yet.

You do need the ProMods assets for this, yes. Otherwise you won't have the correct font.

Asset archive crashed map editor during loading. What's the right way to include it? Maybe my 2nd PC is just too weak to load it?

Hm. As long as my map loads after PM, it won't be replaced, right? So far I was just making changes on SCS map. PM map isn't changed here, afaik. Maybe I'm wrong. I'm just learning, we'll see. Thanks for advices

Promods includes a major part of the vanilla map and makes minor changes in many sectors so you could extract the promods map mod (I don't think the map part is encrypted) and seeing if the sector you are editing is in there
