Hello,
Today I was working on my own little Promods add-on. When I wanted to connect 2 roads with different asphalt types it looked like this:

Does someone know how to get a nice transition between the two roads?
I have red somewhere that it is possible, I only don't know how.

Hello

Can I ask: are the 2 roads the same type?

No, the one with the sidewalk is a city road the other is a normal road.

Then it won't work... You can use dirt curb from Buildings, to cover the transition a bit.

Oh okay but still thank you for your help. :) I will try to do a small piece of country road before the city road with the same road color as the city road. Hopefully the two country roads will then have a nice transition.

I see that you try to connect a road template to an old system road. This makes things complicated, since you either have to find a matching texture on either side. Note that for road templates, their asphalt texture is defined elsewhere in the road properties screen then the old system roads.

Also, your road template doesn't have any shoulders assigned. This will look funky when you connect it to a prefab.

I fixed it by putting a small country road with the same texture than the city road before it, now it has a nice transition. :-)
Can I ask: what are shoulders?

Ooh now I see, thanks!
But now I have another question because I always get these errors popping up when I open the map editor (the red ones):
Image

When I wanted to place a mover and pressed okay to confirm the mover, the game gives me these errors popping up again and after I clicked the errors away the game keeps stuck at 'checking items consistensy' but I don't know how to get rid of it and what it is...
