Inconsistent boundary b/w road and prefab

I'm having trouble trying to fix this gap between the road and a fork prefab. Both have the same terrain settings. Is there a way to somehow adjust the shoulder width of either the road or the prefab to fix the problem? Or is there some other way to deal with this?

Probably one of the road segments has a shoulder setting switched on and the other one doesn't

They are probably 2 different road types

Have you checked the variants of the fork prefab? There should be a suitable one. It would be very weird of SCS not to have made one.

Where would the shoulder setting be? I can't seem to find it.

Press "P", click on red node and you should find it under Left Edge and Right Edge dropdown menu.
