'Twas the first thing I tried, but alas, to no avail.

I just put \n right inside my string though. Is there some other way to use it?

I'm not sure, the other thing you could do is look up the ASCII code for line break and insert it into a file using UTF-8 encoding

I was wondering about that. Is it possible to concatenate strings and what method would one use to insert single characters?

No, it's a locked file and only SCS can open and edit it to include something new, unfortunately.
