Should I have only the promods map in it and nothing else?
You should have the 7 ProMods files in your mod folder: assets, model1, model2, model3, media, map, def. It is recommended that you have no other files in your mod folder because the map editor will load all files from the mod folder (in alphabetical order), regardless of what your game profile(s) have activated in the Mod Manager.

also what is the command edit europe?
Yes, "edit europe" is the correct command to enter in the console.

... it crashes the game after 10 seconds of loading
Can you provide your game.log from the crash? Paste it between [ code ][ /code ] blocks, or upload it to Pastebin and provide the link here.

I don't want to make a new topic, so I post it here, I hope someone sees it. I want to edit the new middle east add on for myself, but if I put all promods scs files in the mod folder (all 7 scs files + ME Addon mods) I get a lot of error messages (a ton of items duplicity detected) Is there a way to skip those, or I am doing something wrong?

this is my mod order:

Promods Middle East Definition+Map
Promods Middle East Assets
Promods Definition Package
Promods Map Package
Promods Assets Package
Promods Media Package
Promods Models Package 1
Promods Models Package 2
Promods Models Package 3

Is this correct?

Keep in mind that the map editor will load all mods from your mod folder, in alphabetical order, regardless of what you have set in the Mod Manager. (You may need to change some filenames to get the map editor to load the files in the proper order.)
