How to change scale of the in-game europe map?

So, I'm going to create a project for a country in Europe. The problem is, I want to use the standard background (the europe one). How can I change the background to match the scale I'm going to use in the map? (probably 1:2)

You need some maths for that, changing the size of the bgn in the def
