I just need to bring this topic back up... I just started working on a 1:1 scale map and wanted to adjust everything to the correct height of about 800. If it would be only that I can't see the nodes right, that would be the smallest problem, but I can't add new roads to the existing ones. It looks like it doesn't connect the start to the node and after drawing the line nothing happens. Only walkaround seems to be to build it at height level 0 and adjust it, but that's no alternative for me.
Any ideas?

Hi. If you are using the 1.32 update then there is an issue with the map editor. The height snapping is bugged.
I am sure that SCS will fix it very soon.
Good luck with your map

Thanks for the answer, yeah, I use 1.32 and didn't try it when I was still on 1.31. Therefore I didn't think about a bug with the new update.
Then I'll stay close to the ground for the moment and try lifting up again later
