ProMods

Want to start map modding, but have no idea what project you want to work on? Don't worry! We now have a list of Open Projects that could help you find a place to start! So, what are these? Let me explain.

There are many people working on ProMods, but even our man-power is limited. There are some areas on the ProMods map that are not likely to get our attention very soon. But these areas are exactly the areas where map modders can start to become potential ProMods members. If you start on one of these projects and convince us of your skills, maybe you'll be the next in line to join the Blue Team. (It doesn't hurt to try )

So what projects are open?

• Building the city of Charleroi, Belgium
• Building the city of Oostende, Belgium
• Building the city of Cork, Ireland
• Re-building the city of Amsterdam, the Netherlands
• Re-building the city of Graz, Austria
• Re-building the city of Klagenfurt a.W., Austria
• Re-building/retrofit the city of Genève, Switzerland
• Re-building/retrofit the city of Zürich, Switzerland
• Re-building/retrofit the city of Szeged, Hungary
• Re-building/retrofit the city of Pecs, Hungary
• Re-building/retrofit the city of Košice, Slovakia
• Building the A1, France from Paris to Lille, replacing the existing country roads.
• Building the M8, Ireland from Cork to the junction with the M7
• Building the N20, Ireland from Cork to the Limerick

The projects are relatively small, so it's not too daunting (though there are a few more challenging projects among them). Just pick one from the list and go mappin'! There's plenty of choice!

How could there possibly be in this list, since ProMods hasn't reached Portugal yet?

It doesn't say anywhere that you can't make Portugal

If you want to make Portugal and be sure PM won't get to there in years... or SCS ever... Just make the Azores and Madeira archipelagos.

I AM already doing it, so that's not a problem. Just wanted to say that our country doesn't get any attention by ProMods or any mapping team.

These are all projects where you can pretty much directly contribute directly to ProMods and where it's safe to work and you don't have to be afraid of overrides. Portugal is too far away from the rest of the map to make this work for now. All suggestions on the list have a direct connection to the rest of the map.

This is not the place to cause a scene about Portugal. And for the record, we actually are not ignoring it in PM.
