I wanted to create this tutorial only for you, who wants to create a single *.scs file which contains multiple skins. This will only cover how to pack trailer mod files, truck skin pack tutorial will be added later.

First thing what you want to do, is to make sure that you have WinRAR or 7-Zip as you have to open the *scs files and do some extractions. If you do not have WinRAR or 7-Zip, please download it as you will need it.

Then, make sure that you have enough of free disc space because the file size will be huge after you've finished the job.

Additional notes
- This tutorial covers how to pack trailer skins in one file
- The program used in this tutorial is WinRAR
- OS is Windows 7 32-bit though my theme might trick you
- Language on my laptop is Finnish
- If I don't mention "desktop folder", I mean those files / folders inside the *.scs-file

Getting started

Step 1:
Create a folder on your desktop which is named like you want.
Image

Step 2:
Inside the desktop folder, create two folders called "def" and "vehicle".
Image

Steps 3 and 4:
Create a folder called "trailer_eu" inside the vehicle folder.
Image

Then, roll back to the view where you see "def" and "vehicle" folders, select the "def" foler and create three folders called "cargo", "company" and "vehicle".
Image

Step 5:
Inside the "vehicle" folder create a folder called "trailer". After this, roll back to main view where you see "def" and "vehicle" folders.
Image

Step 6:
Now open one of your trailer mod files with WinRAR or 7-Zip, in this case it's Finnair.scs opened with WinRAR. When it's opened, you should get this view.
Image

Step 7:
Open the "vehicle" folder and "trailer_eu" folder and copy the folder inside it (press Ctrl+C)

and paste it into the "trailer_eu" folder inside the "vehicle" folder inside the desktop folder.
Image

Step 8:
Roll back to main view and open the "def" folder and copy the cargo.<mod name>.sii into the "def" folder inside the desktop folder. In this case, it's "cargo.finnair.sii"
Image

Step 9:
Open the "cargo" folder and copy the three individual files into the same location on the desktop folder.

Result:

Step 10:
Open the "company" folder and copy all contents to the same location on the desktop folder.

When you are extracting company files from the next mod file, open all company folders one by one and copy the contents from the "in" and "out" folders to the same location on the desktop folder. In you need to add more companies, just copy the <company name> folder to the same location on the desktop folder.
Image

Step 11:
Open the "vehicle" folder and copy the "trailer_storage" and "trailer_traffic_storage" files to the desktop folders' "vehicle" folder. Please note that all mod files may not include the "trailer_traffic_storage" file, if you haven't enabled that specific trailer in AI traffic.
Image

Step 12:
Open "trailer" folder and copy the two files and one folder to the same location on the desktop folder.
Image

Step 13:
Now you're done with the copy pasting, and it's time to make the actual mod file. select the "def" and "vehicle" foldres (inside the desktop folder) and right-click and select "Add to archive...". A WinRAr window should pop.

Now write down the file name into the "Archive name" section, then click on "ZIP" in "Archive format" and select "Store" on the "Compression method"s' roll down list. After that click OK and you're done.

Step 14:
Now you can open another mod file with WinRAR and do exactly the same procedure.
