Could you please provide your game log when he bad mod is enabled, either here or pastebin.com, dropbox or similar
You probably need to get in touch with the mod author for him to update or fix the mod in question

I downloaded the sample mod by SCS, but still can't figure out, where to put my custom manifest.sii file .txt and .jpeg picture, in order for this info to work properly.

The image, manifest file, and description text file need to go into the root folder of your mod.

This is what I do with the files in the sample_mod.zip file each time I make a mod:

Step 1: Take a copy of the three files, and place them in the root folder of your mod.

Step 2: Edit the sample_mod.jpg image to whatever you want it to be. I use resized screenshots for that.

Step 3: Edit the mod_description.txt file and type in some information about your mod. There are some colors listed in the "Description Of Your Mod" section of the Mod Manager Documentation.

Step 4: In the manifest.sii file, change the highlighted text in following lines:
display_name: "Sample mod"

author: "SCS Software"

Step 5: Save your mod, and add it to the game in the usual manner.
Today has been cancelled. Go back to bed.
