Modding/Mapping Questions

Hey,
I've got some questions about the editor and instead of making multiple posts I just gathered 'em all here.
1. Map backround, how do I change it?
2. how do I make my mod compatible with any onther maps?
3. I have created a map extention to europe.mbd, but when I save it (rebuild) it and place in in /ETS2/mod it doesn't work or show any of the roads I've added

If anyone has any answers to any of the questions above, pls do answer.

There are already a few topics for you to ask questions, so please don't open a new thread. It makes it all messy. Your questions have already been answered many times in these topics so please use the serach function and read for yourself.

Well, I've tried to look for the answers but found nothing. The mapping tutorial for V1.8 isn't that helpful for my situation, got any links?

There are also a lot of mapping tutorials out there teaching at least the basics. Our tutorial for 1.8.2 still applies more or less. Just a few things changed since then, but the basics are the same.
