ProMods ain't a mod, it's a game.
This actually isn't that hard. Here's what I did:ShirBlackspots wrote:This would be useful because the addition of RoS makes it where you can't scroll the edge of the map where RoS is (the right edge of RoS is hidden). I managed to get it to work once, but forgot what it was I did or specifically what I edited.
1. Open Promods def file in 7zip
2. Go to the /def folder and open "map_data.sii"
3. Look for the settings titled "camera_limits_min[0]" through "camera_limits_min[7]" and "camera_limits_max[0]" through "camera_limits_max[7]"
4. Now I suppose I could tell you the perfect dimensions, but since I don't want to spend that much time going through each setting here's my recommendation: add a 0 to every number in the parenthesis.
For simplicity's sake, here's my numbers:
camera_limits_min[0]: (-40000000.0, -40000000.0)
camera_limits_min[1]: (-40000000.0, -40000000.0)
camera_limits_min[2]: (-4000000.0, -4000000.0)
camera_limits_min[3]: (-4000000.0, -4000000.0)
camera_limits_min[4]: (-2400000.0, -2400000.0)
camera_limits_min[5]: (-2400000.0, -2400000.0)
camera_limits_min[6]: (-2400000.0, -2400000.0)
camera_limits_min[7]: (-2400000.0, -2400000.0)
camera_limits_max[0]: (4000000.0, 4000000.0)
camera_limits_max[1]: (4000000.0, 4000000.0)
camera_limits_max[2]: (40000000.0, 40000000.0)
camera_limits_max[3]: (4000000.0, 4000000.0)
camera_limits_max[4]: (2400000.0, 2400000.0)
camera_limits_max[5]: (24000000.0, 24000000.0)
camera_limits_max[6]: (2400000.0, 2400000.0)
camera_limits_max[7]: (2400000.0, 2400000.0)
5. Look for the "ui_map_camera_min" and "ui_map_camera_max" settings and add a 0 or two to these as well; it edits the size of the map in the job selection screen. I personally like this to be a little bigger. Here are my numbers for this as well:
ui_map_camera_min: (-2400000.0, -2400000.0)
ui_map_camera_max: (2400000.0, 2400000.0)
6. SAVE YOUR WORK
7. Close out 7-zip and reload ETS2. Note that ETS2 cannot be running while you do this as it's likely reading data from this archive while running.

Oh, ok. Done that. What I had edited was the ui_map_size without editing anything else.
The hotfix breaks the road connection in Helsinki. So you have to choose either you put it at the very top and lose that connection or you place it below the road connection and have bugged delivery points in Helsinki. We're going to upload a new road connection with the fixed companies soon.

Hi,
I upgraded my map mods this afternoon and I have a crash problem with Rusmap during the first load screen.
I upgraded the game to v.1.27, Rusmap to v1.7.2, Promods to v2.16
Next, I managed the mods like it is asked in the readme with Rusmap components beyond Promods packages.
I know my problem is probably very common but I don't know what could help to solve the issue, I can give you logs if necessary (I saw a file named game.crash.txt, but it is very long and doesn't seem very clear to read)
