just remove the Road Connection File - I removed it and still have a connection to RusMap.

Just saw Promods 2.20 has been released. Will there come now also a new promods-rusmap connection as the one for 2.18 makes the game crash.

There will be a new Road connection for PM 2.20 - RusMap soon AFAIK

Please be patient, a new connector for RusMap is required and it isn't out yet.

Just enjoy ProMods 2.20 without RusMap for now.

At this point its better than nothing to have the one connection - I'm sure that the new connection file won't be very far away! Especially since there's lots of good new ProMods content in the West, might be a good idea to spend time out there until the connection comes out.
