Really? even though they seem to be labeled as 7z. files rather than .scs? All right, I'll try that this afternoon.
Ok, I've tried just plopping them into the mod folder, no joy. Also tried renaming them (default filenames appear as things like "RusMap_v1.6.1.7z.002") as things like RusMap_v1.61_2.scs to see if that would help. Didn't. What am I missing?

Volley should have said you don't need to open them seperately. Just open the .001 file with a recent decompression program like WinZip, WinRAR or 7Zip and the parts will re-combine automatically to allow you to unzip the .scs files.

YOU DON'T RENAME THESE PACKAGES, THAT WILL BREAK THEM!
You have to EXTRACT them, not rename them. Then you'll get the proper SCS packages.

I followed the explicit instructions in the OP and set the mod order according to the readme.txt file. WORKED PERFECTLY!!!!
I did not regenerate a new PM def file with RusMap enabled; the RusMap file contains a generated PM-to-RusMap def file. I assumed correctly.
Thanks for the additional map. With PM, I've barely touched the ETS 2 stock locations (on this, my 20th+ restart of the game). Adding RusMap will take me further afield from the stock locations. LOL
Being an SCS beta tester, my spare time is already absorbed by ETS 2 and ATS. RusMap will absorb even more of that time.
Sidebar: I do not use any mods in my beta test profile. Mods only used in "fun", personal profile.

On the E18 in the northeast of Vyborg are a lot of bugs.
There you can see a flying palace and flying hills are in the near too. Then there is a hill on the E18 to Saint Petersburg, you get a lot of damage and cannot continue the drive in this direction. And in Vyborg there are roads blocked which should be accessible

That's a shame :/ so that begs the question, why not both?JESAN wrote:Schlisselburg doubles with same city in Russian Open Spaces
Enabling both maps together removes it from Rusmap on world map
Did not check what happens when travelling in the area- might crash.

I don't know about relationship between both maps devs but Murmansk will become an issue too sooner or later (but with Promods this time ).
And when you compare both russian maps with the real one, Novomoskovsk (ROS) is irl very close to Voronej (Russmap)
Actually the ROS stands in Rusmap's way toward east from north to south excepted the transsiberian corridor near Kazakstan
Wait and see...
