yeah, and apart from that.. you load 2 promods rusmap road connection files AND 2 different definitions files for RusMap ... I would be confused too

I think Rusmap def is the problem. Can you update to 1.7.3?

He has only newest PM_RM_127_roadconnection_v2 I can see, not two. It's only this def file I can see, not two as you have said.

Whenever I try to load the game, it crashes halfway while loading. Load order is correct. I also extracted all files into one same folder. Not sure what the issue is. Some help would really be appreciated

Well I have Rusmap on it's own and it is working fine in 1.28.1 latest release. But no southern region or promods are working yet so they will probably be along shortly.

Just read the first post in the SR-thread, a small workaround for compatibility with 1.28 can be found there:

if you want to play this map with 1.28, open "SRmap [Def_and_Map].scs" and remove the folder "unit".
